Stainless Steel Pump Lifting Chains

imgAn Overview

We understand that HSE classify the operation of raising pumps as lifting, and although there is no specific British Standard, all equipment used should follow the principles laid down in the relevant standards covering lifting equipment. Our own products are designed accordingly. They incorporate exclusively short link chain, are 100% proof tested after assembly to twice the Working Load Limit (WLL), and offer a minimum four to one safety factor.

Stainless Steel grade 50 Pump Lifting Chains with Master Links

These are based on the BS EN 818 and BS EN 1677 series of Standards. They cover short link chain for lifting purposes and components for slings, but the steel chemical composition and heat treatment clauses are not applicable to the stainless steel used for this product.

Each sling is permanently fitted with a CE marked stainless steel identification tag permitting full traceability and detailing the WLL. It is supplied with a Certificate of Test and Examination/Declaration of Conformity. All are manufactured by us in the UK from AISI 316 stainless steels. We are a quality approved manufacturer certified to ISO 9001.
