Frankfurt based artist Mike Bouchet presented a large sculpture titled ‘Black Tie’, the sculpture contained 4500mtrs of Bradney’s galvanised anchor chain weighing over 9 tonnes.

The art work was to represent the chain required to moor a floating suburban home in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.  Bradney Chain’s managing director (Chris Wiggins) arranged the logistics of getting the chain to the exhibition site and assisted the artist with his presentation, moving this amount of chain without getting it knotted is a work of art on its own.
